Must-Visit Attractions:

Dongji Island:

Bagua Mountain and Dongji’s Eye:

A circular-shaped rock resembling an eye, located on the basalt on the north side of the pier, giving it its name.

Ancient Village:

A characteristic Penghu settlement built with sea sand, basalt, and coral stones, a must-visit spot for photography and check-ins.

Dongji Lighthouse:

Constructed in 1911 to improve navigation safety in the nearby waters due to frequent maritime accidents near the Heishui Channel. The lighthouse, located 47 meters above sea level on the island’s northern side, is also the highest point on the island and serves as an important landmark for ships passing through the Heishui Channel.

Blue Cave Cruise:

To the north of Xiji Island lies a sea cave eroded by sea winds and water, forming a semi-open hole. When sunlight refracts through it, you can see the bright blue seawater, earning it the name Blue Cave. Due to the lack of dock facilities and legal restrictions, as well as the impact of tides and weather, it’s not always possible to enter the cave, adding to its mystery and making it a sought-after attraction.

Dongyuping:

Seven-Foot Gate Beach: Named after its width of approximately 500 meters, resembling a person’s seven-foot body. The beach is composed of sandstone, sand, and conglomerate rocks, ideal for observing the intertidal zone.
Lavender Forest Coral Reef: A purple stag coral reef sea, a seasonal beauty from April to September. After restoration efforts by the National Park, the Southern Four Islands National Park boasts a remarkably high coral coverage.
